Michael Chen specializes in international trade and investment, and his
association with the Antidumping Defense Group gives the group a strong
foundation in China. Mr. Chen is licensed to practice law both in China
and the United States, and has a broad background in both legal
cultures.
He was the founding dean of Department of Law at Nanjing Agricultural
University. He has practiced Chinese law in the fields of
corporations, commercial transactions, litigation, and international
trade since 1996, and began practicing in the United States in 2000.
Mr. Chen has published legal English training materials on thirty
international trade topics for Chinese lawyers and judges, and has
presented numerous seminars on Chinese trade and investment. He is
a resident of Beijing, and provides our clients with local, hands-on
representation in antidumping cases. His presence in many cases
can reduce the necessity of long-distance visits by the US resident
members of the firm. His strong understanding of corporate
structure and finance helps companies identify and collect the
information needed to succeed in an antidumping investigation. He
is fluent in English and Mandarin.
