Ms. Xu is experienced in representing importers and foreign exporters from various countries in trade remedy matters before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission in antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations, reviews and scope ruling proceedings. She also litigates international trade matters before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Xu has worked for and worked with small and big law firms in representing importers and foreign exporters in AD and CVD matters since 2010.
With legal education and work experience in China, Singapore and the U.S., Ms. Xu offers a diverse background and skill set to help clients comply U.S. Customs laws and regulations, control risks and develop strategies in international trade business. Ms. Xu’s experience in U.S.-China transactions and her understanding of the culture differences enable her to efficiently assist importers and Chinese exporters in understanding the U.S. AD and CVD laws, preparing accurate and complete responses to the U.S. agency’s questionnaires and obtaining desired available judicial legal remedies. Ms. Xu received her LLB from Zhejiang University Chu Kechen Honor College in China in 2004, her LLM in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from National University of Singapore in 2005 and her J.D. from Kansas University School of Law in 2010. Ms. Xu serves as director of board or legal adviser for various non-for-profit organizations. Ms. Xu is passionate in promoting the welfare of the Chinese American community.
